Carlo Dalla Zorza (Venice, 1903 – 1977) was an Italian painter, engraver and illustrator of books and magazines. In 1921 Carlo Della Zorza enrolled at the Art Institute of Venice, where he attended courses in pictorial decoration and book decoration. He graduated in 1926. In 1942 he was assigned the chair of graphic art at the Istituto ai Carmini in Venice, where he taught until 1972. He exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1924, 1926 and 1928 as a graphic designer; in 1934, 1940 he exhibited as a painter; in 1954 a room was dedicated to him. His participation in the Rome Quadrennials began in 1943. He took part in the Burano Prize in 1946 and won first prize. Wins the National "Garda Landscape" Award. He obtained the Suzzara Prize in 1949 and 1953. He received the Volpi Prize at the Venice Biennale in 1950 and the Province of Venice Prize at the Venice Biennale in 1952. In 1951 he won, with Vincenzo Colucci, with Antonio Donghi and with Luigi Pera, the Michetti Award.
