Giuliano De Luca Biography
Giuliano De Luca (1947 - ) was born in the province of Ferrara in 1947 and trained as a self-taught painter. He then trained artistically in his youth by attending artists' studios and then attending engraving and drawing courses. De Luca is an abstract painter with an informal tendency who carries out his research among energy, memory and its traces.
He has been working in the field of art since the second half of the sixties. There are numerous personal and collective events in which he participates; his works are in many public and private collections in Italy and abroad and his work is present in several catalogs and yearbooks. The energy that had accompanied his initial production has recently been enriched by the memories stored in the most distant meanders of his memory, the artist abandons himself to a sort of journey through fantastic "suburbs", whose link with mental distances is evident . I have exhibited in galleries in various cities in Italy: Milan, Venice, Florence, Treviso, Udine, Pordenone, Padua etc. and abroad: Paris, London, Vienna, Berlin, Hanover, Magdeburg and more.
