Rosalba De Mucci Biography
Rosalba De Mucci (1942 - ) is a painter, designer, fashion designer and glass designer from Murano. He studied at the Liceo Artistico of Venice under the guidance of Gastone Breddo and Guido Cadorin. He initially worked as a fashion designer for an important fashion house and magazines in the sector. From 1970 to today he has exhibited in numerous exhibitions and has received important prizes and recognitions. He has participated in important exhibitions in Italy, France (Palazzo Unesco, Paris), Spain and USA (Los Angeles). She was the promoter of the manifesto “Women in art are worth it!” (1998). He has been present in the main catalogs of contemporary Italian painters since 1971. The favorite subjects in his production are social figures and themes, images of the alienation and rituality of the masses, masks evoking moods, landscapes, people at work, life scenes, horses; all transposed through the oil technique on canvas, cardboard, wood.
