Pierre Émile Desmaisons (Paris 1812 - 1880) was a French lithographer and photographer.
A student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris, Desmaisons followed the courses of Lethière and Granger.
A lithographer, he took over from his father as director of the family publishing house.
Desmaisons exhibited from 1831 at the Paris Salon, first with painted portraits and then, starting from 1833, with lithographed drawings. His many productions were exhibited at the Salon regularly until 1879.
In 1848, he coordinated the Galerie des représentants du peuple, an album of lithographed portraits published by Basset, which earned him a medal.
On 5 July 1863 he was appointed Knight of the Legion of Honor as a lithographer.
