Born under the name Fratelli Donà, the business was founded in Murano in 1937 by Arnaldo Donà, father of Alberto Donà. In 1992 the company became the current Componenti Donà, led by Alberto Donà and his family: Alberto, Loredana, Andrea and Davide. Davide followed in his father's footsteps by becoming a master glassmaker, while Andrea took care of the commercial management of the company. In the first years the production consisted only of chandelier components, hence the name “Donà Components”. With the passage of time, thanks to the development of glass processing techniques, we now produce a vast range of luxury and lighting products, sculptures, classic and modern vases of important artistic value. This was possible thanks to the collaboration with international interior designers and our ability to work on client projects. Our growth has allowed us to work with important brands such as Donghia, Fendi, Venini, Axo Light, Cornelio Cappellini, Veronese, Dale Chihuly, Kohler Interiors and Barovier and Toso. The results can be seen all over the world: we have many products displayed in China, USA and India.
