Radu Dragomirescu Biography
Radu Dragomirescu was born in Roseti (Romania) on 7 June 1944. In 1973 he settled permanently in Italy. He attended the Romanian Institute of Plastic Arts «N. Grigorescu" of Bucharest, graduating in 1969. He took part in archaeological excavations on the Black Sea coast, in the cities of Constance (Tomis), Mangalia (Calatis) and in Ischia with the guidance of the Romanian archaeologist Vasile Canarache in the years from 1960 to 1965. He was professor of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. He lives in Turin and Aramengo (Asti).
