Asbel Dumpierre (1971 - ) is an artist born in Havana, Cuba. After finishing high school, he decided to further his artistic education by choosing plastic arts courses. After completing his studies in 1994, he worked as an art teacher. In that period he began to paint in a more systematic way. In 1998, after an invitation to participate in an exhibition in Buenos Aires, Asbel continued to live in Argentina for the next four years. Since that experience, his activity as an artist has been divided between Cuba and the United States: he completed a mural project for Jersey City through the JCMAP program. So in 2017, he permanently moved to the United States to increase his opportunities. Since then he has had the opportunity to work with several galleries. Some experiences were at Art Fort Lauderdale, Hamptons New York, Spectrum Miami and Aqua Miami Beach.
