Federigo Fabbrini was born in Arezzo in 1928.
After his architectural studies, suspended before graduating, he gained experience in some ceramic factories in Sesto Fiorentino, Montelupo Fiorentino and in the
Marcello Fantoni in Florence.
In 1958 he opened his own workshop, called "
Fabbrini Ceramiche ", in via di Castelbonsi 10 in San Casciano in the province of Florence, together with his wife
Tina Aginari , and invites her to work with him
Nanni Valentini And
Franco Bucci .
From 1969 to 1973 he collaborated as a designer with the "Villeroy & Boch" factory, for which he created, among other things, the "Bomba" table furniture, now kept at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, sharing the experience with Franco Bucci.
In 1970 he was called, together with Franco Bucci, as a designer by the ceramic industry Villeroy & Boch
From 1973 onwards he returned to work in his laboratory in San Casciano where he created small series of ceramics, often inspired by the magical world of fairy tales, and ceramics for use and furnishings, forged on the wheel, in clay for soft stoneware.
In 1993 Federigo Fabbrini closed his business but continued to work in ceramics, collaborating with
Bruno Gambone And
Brunella Sciulli .
During his career he has exhibited several times at exhibitions in Faenza, Gubbio and Ostend and since the 1980s his works have been exhibited in Franco Bucci's "
Laboratorio Pesaro " in Strada Romagna 145 in Pesaro.
Federico Fabbrini died in Florence in 2007.
