Athos Faccincani (Peschiera del Garda 1951) Between 1967 and 1969 he attended the studio of Pio Semeghini and then, in Venice, the studios of Novati, Gamba, Seibezzi. Also in this period he had the opportunity to meet Ottorino Garosio and Angelo Fiessi in Brescia. In 1970, after completing his studies, he dedicated himself to painting and horse riding with the support of his friend Nantas Salvalaggio. In 1980, after a long period of reflection, he moved from the representation of human figures to that of landscape. Faccincani's style can be summed up in a revisited impressionism, with pure and bright colours, aimed at the cultural motivations of the 21st century. Today his works are present in most art collections in Italy and in some European museums, also following the exhibition held at the European Parliament in Strasbourg and the Institutional Anthology exhibition at the Complesso Monumentale del Vittoriano in Rome in 2005, at the solo show in Castel dell'Ovo, Sala delle Prigioni, Naples, at the one held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Tokyo, and at the exhibition in the rooms of the Castello Aragonese in Taranto in 2006.
