born in 1937 in Oroshaza, Hungary. He lives in Budapest where he studies applied arts and decorative painting. in 1966 he created his first constructivist works. In 1969 he made study trips to Western Europe. he works with vasarely and in 79 he becomes friends with max bill. he becomes artistic advisor of the binder studio in budapest. having overcome the convention of the square or rectangular plane in the 90s it became part of the international madi movement. the structure of the works is wide-ranging and relates to both the external and internal space of the composition. addresses the dichotomy between orthogonal construction and oblique line, between micro and macro dimensions, between black and white. the unfolding of the work in space and a translated perception are measured with an only apparent ambiguity.
