Arnaldo Fazzi, a sculptor born on January 6, 1855 in Lucca and died on August 15, 1944 in Florence, was trained at the Royal Institute of Fine Arts in Lucca and furthered his study of sculpture in Florence with Giovanni Dupré. He participated in various art exhibitions, including the Exhibition of Fine Arts in Florence in 1897 and the VIII Exhibition of the Association of Italian Artists in 1913. He was also a member of the Artistic Council of the Association of Italian Artists at Palazzo Strozzi in Florence in 1912. Among Arnaldo Fazzi's most famous works are the statue of the poet Giosuè Carducci in Montecarlo and the funerary monument to Count Ugo Federigi in Florence. Additionally, he created various decorative sculptures for public and private buildings in Tuscany, such as statues, busts, and reliefs in marble and bronze.
