Gilberto Filibeck was born in 1930 in Rome, where he lives and works. After graduating from the International Academy in via Margutta, he attended Aldo Bandinelli's studio. In 1957 he exhibited for the first time at Giuseppe Sciortino's "Il Vantaggio" gallery in Rome. Subsequently he also exhibited in Milan, Florence, Assisi, Palermo, Bologna, Perugia, Bari, Belluno, Lugano and numerous other Italian and foreign cities. Critics have carefully highlighted his artistic work and highly prestigious artists such as Lucio Fontana, Renato Guttuso, Carlo Levi, Giovanni Omiccioli, Mino Maccari have purchased some of his most significant works.
