Federica Finotti (1971 - ) was born in Verona in 1971, a self-taught artist, she began her pictorial career at a very young age under the guidance of her sculptor father. He works in Verona and Pietrasanta, the latter place where he has the opportunity to come into contact with various artistic realities and to deepen his pictorial language. His passion for art is also expressed in the creation of jewellery, in fact he frequents goldsmith workshops in Milan and Tuscany. The gestural expression that characterizes his works was born and developed from the study of dance, his first great passion. Gesture thus appears to be the distinctive feature of his painting, where the casual however becomes completely motivated and motivating. Her activity as a painter integrates into this field of research on emotions and freedom of expression and the search for color as a form of communication. He exhibits in various galleries in Italy. Since 2016 he has collaborated with the Terre d'infanzia Association for an educational project on the development of children's creative abilities and free expressiveness, combining color, music and movement.
