Nicola Fiore Artwork valuations, appraisals and auction estimates

Nicola Fiore was born on 18 June 1881 in Troia, in the province of Foggia. From a young age, he demonstrated a strong interest in art, so he decided to study sculpture at a professional school in Foggia but, feeling the need to deepen his education, he first enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, then at the Academy of Rome.

Nicola Fiore was born on 18 June 1881 in Troia, in the province of Foggia. From a young age, he demonstrated a strong interest in art, so he decided to study sculpture at a professional school in Foggia but, feeling the need to deepen his education, he first enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, then at the Academy of Rome.
During the last year of the academy, Fiore returned to Troia to carry out embellishment work in the hall of the Bishop's Palace. Fiore created many small bronze and plaster sculptures and sacred furnishings. Subsequently, he taught Plastics and Drawing at the Higher School of Art applied to Industry, inside the Castello Sforzesco in Milan.
The artist created numerous public monuments, including the one dedicated to the fallen in Grosio, in Valtellina. Nicola Fiore died on 1 March 1976 in Milan.
