Alessandra Formato Biography
Alessandra Formato began her studies in the field of architecture in a period characterized by a complex situation, at the Polytechnic of Milan, still influenced by the effects of the '68 movement. In the midst of all this chaos, he has the fortunate opportunity to collaborate with Gio Ponti in the last years of his career, and graduates with Marco Zanuso. Thanks to these two masters, who stand out for their greatness and competence in different fields, Alessandra understands how being an architect is an experience that embraces a wide range of possibilities, and that the success of a project depends on a balance optimal between imagination and deep understanding of the objectives to be achieved. At the same time as his studies at the Polytechnic, he decided to attend an interior design course at the European Institute with Gianni De Lucchi, thus strengthening his predilection for this profession. As she begins to get her first project assignments, she is lucky enough to meet director Sergio Salerni and be involved in a completely new world. His commitment now also extends to the creation of sets, at the request of the director himself. We are talking about the 80s, a period of fervor in the field of fashion. Thus began an intense, frenetic collaboration, full of commitments and constant travel. Months of work are dedicated exclusively to conceiving and realizing the fascinating and changing requests of stylists.
