Pierre Forssell was born in 1925 in Stockholm. After specializing as a silversmith, he obtained his journeyman certificate in 1949. Thanks to his emerging talent, Forssell began teaching at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, also collaborating with renowned Swedish brands such as Gense, experts in cutlery manufacturing, and Skultuna, known for their brass items. During his thirty-year stint with Skultuna, from 1955 to 1986, Forsell won widespread acclaim for breathing new life into this historic company.
