He was born in 1923. In 1946 he joined the Frangi company in Milan as a designer and here he completed his training as an interior decorator and designer. He designs furniture and accessories for the Frangi collection and lighting fixtures for O-Luce, the oldest Italian design company still active in the lighting field. 1954 is the year of birth of the F54 modular bookcase, undoubtedly its best-known piece of furniture, still in production. In 1965 he took over an artisan carpentry workshop in which he produced the furniture from the Frangi collection in a small series. In 1980 he closed his shop and laboratory, committing himself full time to his professional activity.
