HAMISH FULTON (1946) Hamish Fulton is a British traveling artist. Since 1972 he has only created works based on the experience of his "walks". He transforms his walks into a variety of media, including photography, illustration and wall text. Since 1994 he began practicing group walks. Fulton argues that "walking is an art form in its own right" and advocates for broader recognition of the art of walking. Hamish Fulton is represented in London by gallery owner Maureen Paley.
