Born Frascà, born Fortunato Frascà (Rome, 21 January 1931 – Rome, 1 April 2006), was an Italian artist. He carried out his artistic activity as a painter, sculptor, architect, designer, director, set designer, teacher, defining himself as a "multimedia artistic researcher". The author himself is the main source of his biography and his work: in an interview given on the occasion of one of his last anthological exhibitions, in a book-catalogue compiled in the 1970s, in his main theoretical text L'Arte , in the shadow of another light and in his numerous writings, diaries, notes, preserved in the Archive of the same name.
