Ake Fribytter Biography

Åke Fribyter, born in 1922 and died in 1998, was a famous Swedish interior designer. He worked at Carl Malmsten in the early 1950s. In 1961, together with Ingvar Carlsson, he created the Mysingen furniture series. Fribyter also designed the Classic chair for Gemla Möbler AB and the Kroken armchair for Nelo Möbler in 1974.
