Cesare Fullone Biography
1Cesare Fullone lives in Milan, where he completed his studies in Painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. His works use chains, barbed wire, metal powders, punches, nails, camouflage paint and x-rays. He chooses powerful icons, explored bodies such as landscapes, worlds and modified objects. In 2009, Fullone created the installation "From Creation to Re-creation", which represents a primordial nature in black and white, with simple and precise graphics, an intricate, incomprehensible and intact nature, which follows mysterious laws.
Cesare Fullone produces and activates imaginaries through photos, videos, posters and magazines, trying to escape the appropriation of the ego and break the rocky walls of recognizability. Among his solo exhibitions are: "On the route of the Spraysages" in Rome; "State of danger" in Genoa; "Deployments" in Turin; "Insomnia" in Milan; "Human landscapes" in Zagreb; "Boxeur" in Milan; "From Created to Re-created" in Milan; "Like wounded butterflies" in Milan; "...the roses in the rose garden that is ours alone" in Milan.
He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including the Open section of the Venice Biennale, the Rome Quadrennial, the Mart of Trento and Rovereto, the Pavilion of Contemporary Art in Milan, Pitti Immagine, Stazione Leopolda in Florence and the Museum of Art Contemporary Zagreb.
