Brajo Fuso (Perugia, 21 February 1899 – Perugia, 30 December 1980) was an Italian doctor, painter, sculptor, writer and poet. He began his artistic activity in 1943 at the encouragement of his wife Elisabetta Rampielli (Bettina), a valid painter and held personal exhibitions. Since the 1930s he has written poems (collected in the volume Le Zavorre, published posthumously), songs, comedies and novels. In 1931 he wrote "Occhiopino", published in 1948 and then "Il Chinchibatte" and "L'Uovo rosso", fairy tales. In 1960 the creation of the Fuseum began, an architectural complex with a park dotted with his works of art and an exhibition gallery now open to the public and included in the Museum System of the Umbria Region. Fuso's work was defined as Débrisart or Scrap Art by his friend André Verdet; In fact, Fuso experimented using every type of poor or recycled material.
