Valerio Gaeti was born in Guidizzolo (Mantua) in 1951. At a very young age he moved to Cantù, where he attended the State Institute of Art and had Giuliano Vangi among his teachers. In 1974 he concluded his artistic studies at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts with Alik Cavaliere. Alongside his artistic research, he carried out long teaching activities in the schools where he studied: first at the Cantù State Art Institute and then at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, in the Design department directed by Ugo La Pietra. Today he teaches painting at the “Aldo Galli” Academy of Fine Arts in Como.
