Georges Zezzos (1883 - 1959) was born in Venice, but has French origins. Throughout his career he will maintain ties with both France and Italy.
A versatile artist, he creates genre works, still lifes, landscapes, portraits and nudes.
He has exhibited at the National Academy of Fine Arts, the Salon des Independents, the Tuileries as well as in Florence, Milan and Turin.
His works are preserved in the collections of the Petit Palais and the Montevideo Museum.
