Alberto Ghinzani (Valle Lomellina Pv 1939, Milan 2015), lived and worked in Milan. An internationally renowned sculptor, he trained at the Brera Academy, attending the sculpture courses of Marino Marini, who at that time had Alik Cavaliere as his assistant. In 1962 he was invited to the International Sculpture Biennial of Carrara (he returned in 1967), while his first solo shows were in 1966: one at the Galleria delle Ore in Milan (with a presentation by Mario de Micheli) and the other at the Galleria Il Sunflower of Rome (with a presentation by Luciano Caramel). Since then, numerous other solo exhibitions have taken place and his works have been presented in important exhibitions dedicated to sculpture: among the most recent, the from Milan.
