Vincenzo Giacomelli (Grizzo, 3 April 1812 – Venice, 1890) was an Italian painter and fought during the defense of Venice in 1848 as a lieutenant of the Venetian National Guard. He painted works related to the themes of the Risorgimento (Daniele Manin at the Arsenale) and paintings of romantic taste, the result of numerous visits to Paris. He also made several prints of photographs on canvas, with compositions typical of Pictorialism.
