Vittorio Giunti Artwork valuations, appraisals and auction estimates

Around the end of the 19th century, Vittorio Emanuele Giunti owned the "Giunti" ceramics factory in Bellariva in the province of Florence. Around the end of the 19th century, Vittorio Emanuele Giunti owned the "Giunti" ceramics factory in Bellariva in the province of Florence. In 1896 he founded, in partnership with his friends Galileo Chini, Giovanni Montelatici and Giovanni Vannuzzi, the "Arte della Ceramica" factory whose trademark is represented by two hands with intertwined fingers, symbol of friendship. He subsequently founded the "Società Ceramica Artistica Fiorentina" factory with which, among others, Adolfo De Carolis collaborated between 1902 and 1903. A great ceramic technician, experimenter of high temperature firing and expert in metallic lustres, Vittorio Giunti is also the author of a book, published in Milan in 1927, "Italian majolica - practical manufacturing technology".
