Gisela Glucker (1951 - ) is a German painter, draftsman, object artist and illustrator. Lives and works in Tübingen, Germany. From 1969 to 1973 he studied art and technology at the Pedagogical Institute and Technical Seminary in Stuttgart with the painters E. Berthold Wohlgemuth and Dieter Göltenboth. He then worked as an art teacher in Tübingen. Since 1983 he has created illustrations for the publishers Schöningh Paderborn, Reading and Leisure Munich and Fink-Kümmerly-Frey and for the school authority of the Bishop of Rottenburg. In his works the artist prefers to use found raw wood such as unplaned boards, beams or poles, from which he assembles multi-part image/object sequences that he draws with emulsion paints. Examples of this are the installation Spielraum König (1995) or the work Paar IV (1997). Gisela Glucker's 1995 work Untitled is owned by the Tübingen Regional Council and most of her works are exhibited in German public and private institutions.
