Eloisa Gobbo Biography
Eloisa Gobbo (1969 - ) graduated in Painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. She was then an artist in residence at the Sculpture Space in Utica New York, at the Anderson Center in Minnesota and at the Vermont Studio Center in Vermont, USA. Over the years, using different media, from painting to sculpture to installation, he has developed his own personal visual research, which aims to reevaluate decoration as an expressive form of personal and social contents. She has won some competitions for the creation of public works of art, such as the one for the Palafitticolo Museum in Fiavé, Trento and for the nursery school in Ravina, Trento and in 2009 she was selected to participate in the prestigious Fabbri Prize. He has held numerous personal and collective exhibitions in Italy and abroad, among his most important public exhibitions are "Pop up Italian show", Museum of Contemporary Art of Hubei, China (2014), "Italian Newbrow", Pinacoteca Civica Palazzo Volpi, Como (2012), "Italian Art 1968-2007 Painting" at Palazzo Reale in Milan (2007), the "Prague Biennale 4", Karlin Hall, Prague (2009).
