Carlo Alberto Gobetti Biography
Carlo Alberto Gobbetti was born on 17 January 1948 in Breno to Bruno and Caterina Pezzotti. He attended compulsory school in Breno, then enrolled at the Beato Angelico Institute in Milan and later in Brera where he obtained an Artistic Diploma. He began as a teacher teaching Drawing and History of Art at the secondary schools of Breno, while he continued to successfully cultivate his passion for painting, always using new and modern techniques. Meanwhile he also discovers in him the sensitivity and competence of the organizer. He collaborates in editorial activities by illustrating texts with paintings and graphics. His paintings mainly feature female figures: welcoming, elegant, delicate, scared, tender. He is the creator of the "City of Breno Art Prize" which he has been offering to artists for some time. professionals and enthusiasts the possibility of exhibiting works of painting, watercolor and graphics in the ancient Church of S. Antonio. The event continues its organizational existence and has been a launching pad for many local artists, as well as nationally and internationally. His expertise makes him known even outside the province, so much so that he is called to collaborate in initiatives and art competitions in the provinces of Brescia, Bergamo, Milan, Verona, Gardone Riviera, Bergamo, Spotorno, Verona, Cremona, Ancona, Tivoli, Forlì and exhibited in national and foreign artistic events (France, Luxembourg, Lithuania), obtaining favorable reviews and reviews. Among other things, he is asked to be part of the Jury in Art Competitions as an expert and critic. In Breno he held the position of Councilor of the Proloco and of the Civic Library. He also actively collaborates in the organization of the "S. Valentino Literary Prize".
