Goca Moreno (Ilhéus, Bahia, Brazil, 8 December 1961) In 1980 he moved to Salvador, where he began studying art at the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Bahia, graduating in 1986. Goca Moreno (Ilhéus, Bahia, Brazil, 8 December 1961) In 1980 he moved to Salvador, where he began studying art at the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Bahia, graduating in 1986. During the five years of study, he worked in the studio of the sculptor Mario Cravo Jr., as his assistant and collaborated in the creation of the "Christ of the Victory of Conquest" in 1980, the "Cléristom Andrade Memorial" in 1983, the "Orishas" for the new headquarters of the post office in Salvador. From 1982 to 1986 he participated in numerous group exhibitions and national salons, in Bahia and other regions of Brazil. In 1986, after this rich period of studies and influences, he returned to Ilhéus, where he set up his atelier and began producing his sculptures.
