Eugenio Colmo (1885 - 1967), aka Golia, was one of the most eclectic Italian artists of the twentieth century. A talented painter, he dedicated himself to many genres of decorative art. However, it is with caricature and with the illustration of books and magazines («Il Pasquino», «Numero») that he achieved notoriety. Active in Turin, Golia has designed almost twenty advertising posters of various commercial genres, some of which are post-futurist graphics. However, most of his posters are caricatural in nature. Painter and writer, Golia dedicated himself to illustration, collaborating with various magazines. We find it at Numero, at Due di Coppe, at Pasquino. He offered the world of children's literature numerous illustrations and covers. He designed the 1917 drawings for Gozzano's The Princess Marries. He was part of the Universal Exhibition of Humor group. He also dedicated himself to the advertising sector.
