Fabrizio Gori Biography

Fabrizio Gori was born in the city of Florence in 1940. After studying art, he began his exhibition career in 1967, presenting a very personal artistic language, characterized by continuous experimentation and constant attention to the great Florentine tradition of art. Throughout his career, Gori has always referred to his cultural roots and the city of Florence as a source of inspiration.
Gori was part of the avant-garde group "Studio d'arte Il Moro", of which his friend and mentor Vinicio Berti was the founder, and joined the manifesto "Birth of a Constructive Morphology". This group operated in Florence from the 1970s to the mid-1990s. Over the years, Gori has developed a distinctive mark, characterized by a continuous thirst for experimentation and a thoughtful reflection on the fundamental elements of the classical tradition.
The architectural spaces of the city of Florence have always exerted a great fascination on Gori and his works have often been inspired by the hidden threads that bind the historical-artistic events of the city. He has held many national and international exhibitions, including "Pinocchiero", an exhibition that combined three of Gori's inspirational cornerstones: Pinocchio, the Baptistery and Florence itself.
