Luigi Grande (Palermo, 1939) is a painter, sculptor and graphic designer. His first solo exhibition dates back to 1960, at the “Il Portico” gallery in Santa Margherita Ligure; then followed by the Milanese galleries of "Il Giorno" in 1964 and "L'Agrifoglio" in 1970, with a critical text by Mario De Micheli. Over the years, participation in national and international art exhibitions (France, Germany, Greece, United States, Finland, Spain) has been added to numerous solo exhibitions. In 2000 he won the Turio Copello prize (Economic Society, Chiavari). He has carried out public works including: the sculpture of the partisan in Piazza Innocenzo IV in Lavagna (1975); the Cippi in Cavi di Lavagna (1998); the monument to the emigrant in Favale di Malvaro (1989); the bust of G. Casini at Villa Rocca Park in Chiavari (1996); mural painting in Casoli-Atri (1997). His other works appear at the Galleria Civica d'Arte Moderna in Gallarate; at the Pinacoteca Museum of Vado Ligure; to the Graphic Collection of the Municipality of Bagnocavallo (Ra); at the Castle of San Pietro in Cerro (Museum in motion), in the collection of the Museum of Villa Croce (in Genoa).
