The Martin Grierson Company was founded in 1975 with the aim of creating excellent examples of modern furniture according to the designs of the designer of the same name. A small team of craftsmen and women have created, on commission, furniture for the home and office, corporate clients, local authorities, museums and galleries, churches, government offices and colleges. In 2015 he received the "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.
