Giacomo Guardi (1764 – 1835) was an Italian painter. Son of the well-known Venetian landscape painter Francesco Guardi, he continued in his father's line of work, without however ever reaching the same level of notoriety as his famous parent. Most of his works are small views which, despite not having received an artistic interest equal to those of his father, demonstrate the author's notable artistic ability, which in fact aroused great interest in a later period. In 1829 he sold many of his and his father's works to Prince Teodoro Correr.
