Antonio Guccione Biography
Antonio Guccione (1947 - ) was an internationally renowned photographer. He is currently a teacher at the New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and a collaborator for the weekly "Vanity Fair". He has lived in different cities around the world: London, Paris, New York. In Milan, at different times, he opened two studios: one in via Cellini, the other in via Pisacane; and was already working on projects. With “Dressing up Milano” and “Fashion and Faces” he revealed a face of the city through the images of Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce, Donatella Versace, Alberta Ferretti, Valentino, Franca Sozzani, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Roberto Bolle. Guccione has collaborated with the most prestigious magazines, immortalizing countless celebrities: Cindy Crawford, Sarah Jessica Parker at the beginning of her career, Alberto Moravia and Michelangelo Antonioni. He spent long periods in Paris and New York. In France he collaborates with Harper's Bazaar, in the United States he sets up various exhibitions, including “Faces of New York”. During his career Antonio Guccione created advertising campaigns for Gucci, Prada, Versace, Officine Panerai and many others. He directed Alma by Karl Lagerfeld. His works are exhibited in the largest museums and art galleries in the world.
