Amanzia Guérillot Inganni was an Italian painter born in Milan on 20 April 1828 and died in Boffalora sopra Ticino on December 1905. She was of French origins and the daughter of Nicolò Guérillot, Napoleon's first accountant in Milan.
Amanzia Guérillot Inganni was a pupil, lover and later wife of the Brescia painter Angelo Inganni. The two met in Milan in 1842, and it was her future husband who gave her her first painting lessons in exchange for some French lessons for the painter's niece.
Even after her marriage, Amanzia continued to produce works of art successfully and her name often appeared in the Brera exhibition catalogues. His most famous works represent views of Milan. Amanzia also created religious paintings and created an ex voto preserved in the Diocesan Museum of Brescia. Additionally, she worked with her husband making decorations of ornaments such as wooden shapes, mirrors, fans, screens and doors.
