Geoffrey Harcourt was BORN in Melbourne in 1931 and completed his studies at the Royal College of Art in London. Throughout his career, he has created a number of exceptional pieces for the acclaimed publisher Artifort. Among them, the 042 series, which dates back to 1963, achieved immediate international success, as did his first series of office furniture made in 1962.
Harcourt's collaboration with Artifort has given rise to several furniture series, mainly focused on the working sphere. This synergy has significantly contributed to the publisher's success, increasing its reputation internationally. Throughout his career, Harcourt has received numerous awards, including the prestigious title of Royal Designer for Industry in 1978.
