Fred Nall Hollis (1949 - ) is an American artist who uses the name "Nall". He owns a studio and gallery in Fairhope, Alabama. Nall was born in Troy and then attended the University of Alabama, earning a Bachelor of Arts in art with minors in psychology and political science. Nall was later admitted to study at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France in 1971. He traveled extensively, particularly in the Middle East, North Africa, India and Mexico, with his art influenced by his surroundings ranging from Arab and Byzantine architecture. His art was soon recognized and exhibited throughout the United States and Europe. In 1986, Nall purchased a studio in Vence, France, and began publishing his line engravings. This led him to acquire the existing Karolyi Foundation and from it to create the NALL (Nature Art & Life League) Art Association. Located on a three-hectare estate in a valley between Vence and Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Nall spent 3 years personally rebuilding and renovating all the existing houses and adding a museum to the house and exhibiting his works of art. The NALL Art Association offered art training for university students and provided a cultural life through exhibitions and lectures.
