Charles Holloway (Christchurch, Hampshire, 10 May 1838 – 1897) was a landscape and marine artist, printmaker and lithographer. Son of Charles Holloway, stained glass maker, he studied at Leigh's Academy and worked with Frederick Walker, Charles Green and Sir JD Linton at Leigh's Studio in Newman Street, London. He subsequently associated himself with William Morris in the manufacture of stained glass until 1866. He then devoted himself almost entirely to painting and drawing, often using Fen Street and the Thames as his subject matter. His watercolors are impressionist in style.
