Honoré Icard, born in Tourtouse in 1843, was a French sculptor.

Honoré Icard, born in Tourtouse in 1843, was a French sculptor.
He began working as an apprentice to a cabinetmaker and later worked for an ornamentalist in Clermont-Ferrand, where in 1869 he obtained the first prize in sculpture at the School of Fine Arts. During the war of 1870 he was taken prisoner in Prague. Once freed, he wanted to reach Paris to complete his education and studied at the École des Arts Décoratifs. There he followed the teachings of Aimé Millet and Auguste Dumont. He worked at the Manufacture de Sèvres from 1892 to 1908.
In Paris, he participated in the Salon de Peinture et de Sculpture every year from 1875 (the year he became a member of the Société des Artistes Français) to 1913. He was a member of the jury several times.
