Massimo Iosa Ghini Biography

Born in 1959, Massimo Iosa Ghini studied architecture in Florence and then graduated from the Polytechnic of Milan. Today he is considered one of the Italian architects and designers present on the international scene. Since 1985 he has participated in the avant-garde of Italian architecture and design: he founded the cultural movement Bolidismo and joined the Memphis group with Ettore Sottsass. hyen conferences and lectures in various universities, including the Polytechnic of Milan, the Domus Academy, the La Sapienza University of Rome, the Elisava School of Barcelona, ​​the Design Fachhoschule of Cologne and the Hochschule fur Angewandte Kunst of Vienna. He has been teaching at the MBA at the Alma Graduate School in Bologna since 2007; Since 2008 he has been Adjunct Professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic. His projects can be found in various international museums and private collections and have received important awards, including the Roscoe Award in the USA, 1988, the Good Design Award 2001, 2004, 2009 and 2010 from Chicago Athenaeum and the Red Dot Award in 2003.
