Monique Journod is a French figurative painter and lithographer born in Rome on 14 March 1935. Monique Journod was a student of Roger Chapelain-Midy at the National School of Fine Arts. Journod is, together with Paul Ambille, Alex Berdal, Joel Dabin and Arlette Le More, a member of the group Demain. He is a member of the Taylor Foundation and, in 1978, 1979 and 1980, he was president of the painting section of the Salon des artistes français.
