Yeondoo Jung graduated from Seoul National University and attended Goldsmiths College. In 2007 he was named “Artist of the Year” by the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul. He exhibits in several museums and biennials, including the 51st Venice Biennale and the 2008 Liverpool Biennale. Many prestigious institutions have acquired his works, including, in addition to the Cassa di Risparmio di Modena Foundation, the RISD Museum of Rhode Island and The Museum of Modern Art in New York.
