Dragoš Kalajić (1943 – 2005) was a Serbian painter, journalist, writer and philosopher. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. As a student he exhibited in Rome, Milan, Brussels and Belgrade. In Rome, he received a prize for young artists in 1964. One of his well-known exhibitions was Restoration of the Painting, held at the gallery of the Belgrade Cultural Center. He exhibited at the Cvijeta Zuzorić Art Pavilion in the exhibition New Figuration. In addition to painting, he wrote and published newspaper articles, in fact for years he was editor of the magazine "Duga" and correspondent from Italy for Tanjug. He was director of the Progress gallery in Belgrade. Kalajić was also elected senator of the Republic of Serbia in the first Senate election in 1996.
