1Komáromi-Kacz, Endre (also known as Komáromi Katz Endre) was a Hungarian painter. He began his artistic studies in Budapest, then continued in Munich and Nagybánya. His teachers were Balló Ede and Hollósy Simon. He studied at the school of master Benczúr between 1903 and 1907. He made a long study trip to the Netherlands and Belgium thanks to a state scholarship. He worked in Budapest and in the last years of his life he painted landscapes of Lake Balaton in Balatonalmádi. From 1910 he exhibited regularly at Műcsarnok and Nemzeti Szalon and won numerous prizes. In 1918 he had a collective exhibition at the Nemzeti Szalon and in 1924 at the Műcsarnok. Some of his works are present in the collection of the Hungarian National Gallery.
