Austrian architect and painter (Vienna 1878 - Quebec 1969). Pupil of C. Sitte and O. Wagner, he collaborated with the latter until 1910; in 1908 he created the Kunstschau in Ressel Park with J. Hoffmann. He visited various European countries and obtained official recognition in the exhibition in Rome in 1911 and in Leipzig in 1913. He is the author of numerous railway stations in Austria, the Grand Hôtel Wiesler in Graz and the grandstand of the hippodrome in Vienna. In collaboration with E. Hoppe and O. Schönthal he built the Fischer Palace in Vienna. After the Second World War he emigrated to Canada.
