Gaetana (Ketty) La Rocca (La Spezia, 14 July 1938 – Florence, 7 February 1976) was an Italian artist. She was one of the most important Italian artists of the 20th century, a leading exponent of Visual Poetry and one of the few artists to be recognized internationally, and in her latest works an exponent of Body Art. Her research is fueled by profound reflection on the universe of communication. He participated in the XXXVI Venice Biennale in 1972 with one of the first videos made in the artistic field. The Ketty La Rocca Archive (The Estate Ketty La Rocca) is managed by the artist's son, Michelangelo Vasta, professor of Economic History at the Department of Political Economy and Statistics of the University of Siena.
