Sergio Laterza is an artist born in the province of Matera. After studying at the State Institute of Art and the Academy of Interior Design in Bari; in 1972 he lived in Zurich for a few months, where he had the opportunity to come into contact with well-known personalities in the city's artistic circles. Throughout the 70s and 80s he made frequent trips to other European cities such as Paris, Barcelona, ​​Cannes, Frankfurt. Istanbul. He has held personal and collective exhibitions in various Italian and European cities and has worked as a creative designer for Natuzzi and other furniture companies. Its production involves fabrics, carpets, sofas and household objects. Today he works as an antiques dealer with a passion for contemporary art.
